Hey heyyyy! I am so happy you’re here! And I’m so excited for you to learn more about me
For starters, if you know me, you know this job has always been my dream. I was extremely fortunate to grow up surrounded by photography. My mom is an incredible photographer who shot weddings for many years, since then she has passed the torch down to me. When I got my first camera I was the age of 13 and was e-c-s-t-a-t-i-c. I soaked in every ounce of knowledge and experience as I could about weddings from working with my amazing mama. From there I continued to further educate myself on the art.
Years after 13, I put in a lot of work and investment into my business. It became more serious in high school— I was photographing seniors, families, and even weddings. I was able to immediately make the jump into photographing what I love full-time. This job, my clients, and being where I’ve always meant to be. It doesn’t get any better than that <3
If you are looking for someone to document your big day, your last year of high school, your family in the making, or let’s be real—any celebration, you came to the right place.
All of this started at an early age for me. It began when my mom started her photography career when she was pregnant with me. She first pulled out her camera to photograph her belly— to be more specific, a photo of my older brother kissing her bump. To this day, I jokingly take credit for her career switch. “It’s all because of me that you became a photographer,” I used to say as a little girl. I was so proud of her business.
But it is funny how the tables have turned. I am now a photographer because of her. I have always been inspired by her and her determination to make a brand for herself. She used to jokingly ask me on her wedding days, “Will you go shoot this wedding for me?” And it has become full circle in the fact that now I can go shoot those weddings for her. I will never forget the trip we took to Jamaica to shoot a destination wedding together.
My younger self would have been so proud. I hope one day to be half as good of the photographer she is. And I know with as my teacher, I can be. I have always known this is where I am meant to be and what I am meant to do. So thank you for being here with me on this journey.
